Dopo la sua formazione triennale di teatro con diploma in svariate discipline si orienta e specializza sulla tecnica dell‘improvvisazione teatrale, sulla voce e sulle potenzialità dell‘attore. Ingaggiata in alcune compagnie teatrali recita in Svizzera e Italia. Collabora poi con la Televisione Svizzera per cinque anni per animare e presentare trasmissioni in diretta per un pubblico giovanile e adulto. Da quindici anni collabora intensivamente con la Markus Zohner Theater Compagnie in veste di attrice, nella creazione di spettacoli e nel promuovere progetti internazionali di teatro in tutto il mondo. Spettacoli quali “Storie eroticomiche da Le Mille e una notte“, “La storia del soldato” di Ramuz e Strawinski, “Odyssee” da Omero, “Ha!Hamlet” da William Shakespeare, “White Cherry Cechov” di Anton Checov, la portano a recitare in italiano e tedesco in tutto il mondo confrontandosi con culture e lingue diverse, in Europa Centrale, Federazione Russia, Finlandia, Paesi Baltici, Pakistan, Kasachstan, Chirgisistan, Iran, Egitto, Armenia, Turchia, New York, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Colombia, Argentina, Brasile. Sue ultime regie e creazioni: “Domitilla e la Stellla delle parole perse” “HOMEsweetHOME” “Hans Christian Andersen” “Eva e Adam” “Angeli ribelli“. Realizza in collaborazione con il compositore e musicista Gabriele Marangoni lo spettacolo “Giulietta&Romeo&Juliet”, Opus musicale e teatrale da Ovidio al dramma di Shakespeare, in cui rilegge e interpreta i testi che hanno preceduto l’opera di Shakespeare, come pure parti dello spettacolo del Bardo. Alterna la sua attività teatrale con quella letteraria. Il suo romanzo “La stiratrice” è stato pubblicato da Manni editore, i suoi testi teatrali hanno esordito in Svizzera e Germania. Oltre alla sua attività in veste di creatrice e regista di spettacoli, tiene corsi di teatro in Svizzera, Germania e nel mondo. Nel 2010 fonda la sua compagnia TeatroX con la quale si prefigge di ricercare nuove tematiche basate sul testo, le immagini, il movimento, la musica con lo scopo di produrre spettacoli e allargare il campo creativo attraverso interscambio e compartecipazione con enti teatrali in altri paesi.

Patrizia Barbuiani completed a three year period of drama studies obtaining a diploma in various disciplines. She then decided to specialize in theatrical improvisation techniques and actor potential. She worked for Swiss Television for five years as a presenter of live programs. She has worked as an actress for the Markus Zohner Theatre Company for several years, collaborating in the creation of productions Alongside her theatrical activities Patrizia also dedicates time to literary projects. Her novel “The Ironer” (La stiratrice) was published by Manni and her scripts for the theatre have been staged in Switzerland, Germany and Brazil. As well as creating and directing theatrical productions, she also holds drama courses in Switzerland and in Germany.

Patrizia Barbuiani ist Schauspielerin, Regisseurin, Schriftstellerin. Nach ihrer dreijährigen Theaterausbildung spezialisiertsie sich auf Theaterimprovisation als Instrument der theatralischen Kreation, auf Arbeit mit der Stimme und die Entwicklung der inneren Arbeit des Schauspielers. Fünf Jahre lang ist sie als Autorin und Moderatorin beim Schweizer Fernsehen tätig. Mit der Markus Zohner Theater Compagnie kreiert sie verschiedenste Theaterstücke und realisiert grosse internationale Theaterprojekte, für die sie zahlreiche Auszeichnungen wie den SWISS THEATRE AWARD 2000, den GRAND PRIX DU JURY ET DU PUBLIC am Theaterfestival in Teheran / Iran, den grossen Preis der Theaterkritik in Russland und viele andere mehr erhält. Sie gründet ihre eigene Theatergruppe TeatroX, mitder sie ihre eigenen Texte inszeniert: Eva und Adam, HOMEsweetHOME (Preis für das beste Stück des Theaterfestivals in Slowenien), Hans Christian Andersen, Giulietta&Romeo&Juliet, DIOfemmina, Mors Ridens. 2012 wird sie ans Mali Theater in Novgorod gerufen, um dort ihre Eigenkreation 3Schwestern zu inszenieren. Sie wechselt ihre theatrealische Arbeit ihrer schriftstellerischen Tätigkeit ab. Ihr Roman Die Büglerin wurde von Manni Editore herausgegeben, ihr neues Werk Die Stimme soll 2015 erscheinen. Ihre Theatertexte werden in der Schweiz und in Deutschland gespielt. Patrizia Barbuiani gibt Theaterkurse in der Schweiz, in Deutschland und im Rest der Welt.
