Santiago Bello Pérez, actor
Colombian juggler, video artist and puppeteer. Since 2015 he is researching the fusion of physical theatre, object manipulation and video on stage in the Master Program at Accademia Teatro Dimitri in Switzerland. In june 2017 he premiered his solo show ‘Pandora’ combining physical and audiovisual theatre. Former integrant of the colombian circus theatre company “Manipulacción” with which he performed the play ‘Caffé la Esphera’ at the XIII Festival Iberoamericano de Teatro de Bogotá in 2013. In the last 7 years he has worked in different film projects as camera man, assistant director and film editor. In 2009 he co-directed the first juggling documentary from Colombia, Third World Juggling for Multimanos Producciones. In 2016, he co-created UATAUEIST Project and toured the south of India with the show Plasttikkatti while teaching circus and juggling workshops for children in Tamil Nadu. Since 2016 he performs in the show ‘Insomnia’, directed by Pavel Stourac, with which he won the Swag Award at the International Festival of Theatre Setkani Encounter in Brno, Czech Republic.
